Looking for unique December events in Forsyth County? It’s not always easy to sort through all of the goings on in your area, especially around the holidays, and especially when you’re looking for something different. At Pinska Masonry, we value our customers and the residents who live in our service areas. That’s why we’re here to help you plan your December calendar. Here’s everything you need to know about everything going on to help you ring in the holiday season:
Christmas on the Farm
December 1 – 30
5:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Warbington Farms, Cumming
The magic of the season will be all around at this winter wonderland. Enjoy holiday entertainment, a huge light display and light show, and a musical dancing tree. The family will be able to stroll through the barnyard, hop on a hayride to the Field of Lights and get your picture taken with Santa. Check out the Facebook event page for more information on dates.
Happy Feat’s Jingle in the Park
December 1
8:00 am – 8:00 pm
Town Center Park, Suwanee
Start the morning with a 5k at 8:00 am then shop at the holiday market from 10:00-6:00. You’ll find unique gifts including handmade items and décor for everyone on your list. Proceeds will benefit Happy Feat, an organization that provides opportunities for those with disabilities.
Outdoor Christmas Movie with Santa
December 1
4:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Milford Family Farm, Cumming
Pack up your blankets and chairs and bring the family to meet Santa and watch a special screening of a select Christmas movie. A family photo with Santa included in the price. Check out the event website for tickets and information.
Sensitive Santa
December 2
12:00 pm – 1:30 pm
Hampton Park Library, Cumming
This event is especially for children with sensory or other special needs. Children will have a reserved 10-minute session with Santa. Call for reservations: 770-781-9840 ext. 6709.
Nutcracker Tea
December 2
2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Plum and Sage Tea Room, Cumming
Have tea with Clara and her friends from the Nutcracker. Enjoy sweets and hors-d’oeuvres and hear the tale of Clara’s journey in the Land of Sweets. You’ll also get to see performances and take photos with the cast! Get tickets and more information here.
Holiday Gift Make and Take
December 3
5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Hampton Park Library, Cumming
This is a special event for kids age 7-14. Make gifts and decorations to ring in the holidays and surprise your family and friends! No registration required but come early to be sure you get your spot and supplies.
Arts and Crafts Festival
December 7, 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm
December 8, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Cumming Fairgrounds, Cumming
Find the perfect gift for anyone on your list at this family-friendly event. Shop, eat, and get free photos with Santa!
Deck the Stalls
December 8
11:00 am – 4:00 pm
Save the Horses, Cumming
This unique event will have a petting zoo, hay rides, games, face painting, and food and craft vendors. Admission is free, and proceeds will go to the rescue. Save the Horses is a nonprofit based in Cumming that works to re-home neglected, abused, and unwanted horses and other animals. Go to their website for more information.
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
December 13, 14, 15
Forsyth Academy of Performing Arts, Cumming
Experience a unique Christmas performance presented by the Forsyth Academy of Performing Arts. Watch as the not-so-pleasant Herdman family creates chaos wherever they go, but eventually learn about the magic of Christmas through their first ever experience with the Christmas story. Jingle Jog and City of Cumming Christmas Parade

3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Cumming Fairgrounds, Cumming
Come jog off that eggnog in this fun 5k run/walk. Proceeds will go to help support foster families in the Cumming community. Enjoy a variety of events and activities, and stay after the 5k for the Cumming Christmas Parade. Find more information at the Facebook event.
Winter Break Family Movie Picnic
December 21
11:15 am – 4:30 pm
Post Road Library, Cumming
Come down to the library and watch The Santa Claus Trilogy on the big screen. Bring your sleeping bag and pillow, and don’t forget to pack a picnic lunch or some movie snacks. All ages welcome. Come early and grab your spot. Find all the information you need here.
